Since 2020, REDBUD WINE CO. has been cultivating sustainable Chardonnay and Pinot noir in the Lake Michigan Shore AVA. With a commitment to quality, and a passion for working with, not against, the land our 2.5 acre vineyard has produced grapes with characteristics of a unique sense of place. With sandy loam soils, sloping hillsides, and the protection provided by the close proximity to Lake Michigan, along with minimal intervention, our grapes develop quality characteristics that sustainable agriculture and minimal intervention viticulture is designed to do.
